Theme of the Hackathon

Hi,
What is the theme of this hackathon? Can we just come up with any project we like and submit it on 16th?
(or) Will they announce the topic on 16th and then we begin work on this....
I am new to Hackathons. Sorry if its too newbie

    The theme is "Streamlining Solutions for Global Challenges", which is a pretty wide theme. Basically any project that solves a global challenge aligns with our theme. However you are free to come up with any project and submit it

    Thank you! I thought that we should start development only after March 16th!! The way you are saying, I think we can start development right now.... Can you please clarify? Thanks!

    It's best to start the project after March 16th to ensure a level playing field for everyone.
